Why Is Rick Ross Holding The Patriots' Super Bowl Trophy?

Hood billionaires unite.

Rick Ross may have intentions to buy a stake in the Miami Dolphins, but that didn't stop him from partying with the team's division rival New England Patriots last night.

Following the Patriots' victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl on Sunday night, Rozay joined the newly-crowned champs for a party to celebrate. He didn't just hit the stage and touch the mic, though.

He touched the Vince Lombardi Trophy, given each year to the team that wins the big game.

Actually, he touched it twice.

See, it seems like him and Pats owner Robert Kraft -- a true hood billionaire, with an estimated net worth of $4 billion -- have forged a friendship of sorts.

In fact, Kraft even calls the rapper by his endearing nickname, "Ricky."

When the Dolphins and Patriots play twice next season, like they do every year, there will be an essential question: Will Ross be wearing a New England hat, like he was last night, or repping his hometown of Miami?
