TMZ reports that the onetime Death Row Records CEO got into a fight with two crew members on the set of an unnamed film project in Compton, Calif. on Thursday (January 29).
According to TMZ, Knight got into his vehicle and struck and killed a bystander while fleeing the scene. The site also claims to have identified the victim, as well as another man who sustained "non-life threatening injuries" after being hit by Knight's car.
The Compton Police Department confirmed to The New York Post that the incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. PST.
MTV News contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and a Public Information Officer confirmed that there was a "traffic collision" today in Compton between a vehicle and two pedestrians -- not one, as some outlets initially reported.
