The Grammys love putting weird combinations together. Somewhere in a conference room, I can hear the event planners using their best Stefan voices to glue together unlikely duos. Last year, they were all: "This year will have EVERYTHING. We'll have Billie Joe Armstrong and Miranda Lambert singing Everly Brothers, Kendrick Lamar will rap on an alt-rock tune, and Taylor Swift will perform an exorcism on stage."

The Grammy geniuses are already putting their creative caps on. On Wednesday (Jan. 28), they announced that Gwen Stefani will be performing with Adam Levine, which makes sense. Other match-ups? Hozier with Annie Lennox, Jessie J and Tom Jones (both "The Voice" U.K. coaches) Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett (who have an album together, so that just seems natural). But yeah, weird.
Want to get weirder with me? I mean, yeah, Jessie J with the man who sang "It's Not Unusual" and "What's New Pussycat"? Yeah, that's weird. But let's take a look at the list and see if we can pair up.

Here are the other announced performers for the 2015 Grammys: AC/DC, Eric Church, Common with John Legend, Ariana Grande, Miranda Lambert, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Usher, and Pharrell Williams
Here are the possible weirdest Grammy combos:
-
Eric Church + Madonna

Madonna can rock a cowboy hat, but not a lot of people flash their nipples in country music.
-
Sam Smith + AC/DC
I can hear the "Highway to Hell"/"Stay With Me" mash-up right now, and it's tearing me apart.

Ariana Grande + AC/DC

Basically, any modern artist with AC/DC.
-
Usher + Miranda Lambert

Hey, Miranda got stuck with a punk-rocker last year. R&B should be no big deal.
-
Lady Gaga + Madonna!
Or would that be reductive?
-
Beyonce + Taylor Swift

Yeah, I know they're not announced as performers, but they're heavily nominated, and to be honest, how epic would this be?
