The Show Must Go On: Season 4 Of 'Catfish' Will Kick Off Sans Max Joseph

But don't worry -- the silver fox's absence is only temporary.

What would peanut butter be without jelly? A fife with no drum? Nev Schulman sans his "Catfish" co-host?

Next month, the show that helps love hopefuls determine the validity of their online relationships will have to proceed without its gray-haired, b-roll-shooting staple Max Joseph (at least temporarily). Sadly, when Season 4 began shooting, Max was still busy directing upcoming film "We Are Your Friends," and in the trailer for the next batch of "Catfish" episodes below, Nev is forced to look to the likes of celebrity guest hosts Tyler Oakley, Charlamagne Tha God and more to help nail down the Internet's most shameful virtual liars and, on occasion, bring the truth-tellers together.

Assault charges, the sanctity of marriage and...foot fetishes?...are all addressed in the clip, and it looks like Nev's new gumshoe-proteges are pumped to get in on the action. "This could be the biggest family betrayal this show has ever seen," Oakley assesses one particularly volatile-sounding case. And that, friends, is just the beginning. Appropriately FOMO-ed yet, Max?
