Meghan Trainor has been having a pretty good 2015 so far. This week, her debut album, Title, managed to knock Taylor Swift's omnipresent 1989 from the #1 position on the Billboard 200, selling 195,000 copies in its first week.
But then, Meghan got something that is arguably even better than a #1 album: a balloon mini-me.
Apparently, someone gifted Meghan with this work of art, when she was visiting BBC Radio 2 Studios on Friday (January 23).
If you've never been able to appreciate such wonderful balloon creations due to a complete and utter terror at the sight of clowns, now is a good time to conquer that fear.
WORK. OF. ART. Look at the pains this balloon mastermind took to create a near-perfect replica of the "All About That Bass" singer:
The big, blue eyes. The lip color is spot-on. The balloon mini-me is even holding a guitar?
Look, here she is the exact same day before she received her gift:
To quote Vanessa Carlton, it was "just a day, just an ordinary day—just trying to get by."
And here she is after. Obviously, Meghan is thrilled with her new
pet balloon doll:
She even made their hair match, guys.
Just a hunch, but I'm guessing this isn't the last we'll see of this magnificent mini-me. Congrats Meghan, both on your #1 debut and your incredible balloon doll! What a great start to the year for this budding pop star.
