Jon Stewart Slams Presidential Hopeful Mike Huckabee For Comparing Beyonce To A Stripper

Oh, and Jay Z is a 'pimp.'

Who better to opine on Beyoncé than Mike Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas and failed presidential candidate? No one, that's who.

But, somehow, that didn't stop Jon Stewart from pushing back on Huckabee's recent comments about Queen Bey and her husband, Jay Z. In his book, God, Guns, Grits and Gravy, Huckabee wrote that Hov is "arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp," and to TMZ, he reiterated that Bey "doesn’t need to be as risqué to be popular."

The former Fox News host actually offered some more curious rhetoric when he appeared on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" on Monday. "Do you know any parent that has a daughter that says, 'Honey, if you make really good grades, someday, when you're 12 or 13, we'll get you your own stripper pole!" he said.

"I think that's diminishing Beyoncé in a way that's truly outrageous," Stewart responded.

The politician also thought there was a double standard. So, from there, the comedian showed a clip from Huckabee's show, with Ted Nugent, giving a musical performance, singing, "I make the p---y purr with the stroke of my hand/ They know they gettin' it from me;" the politician was playing bass.

"Do you see my point?" Stewart asked. "You excuse that type of crudeness because you agree with his stance on firearms. You don't approve of Beyoncé because she seems alien to you."
