Emily Blunt Is Bringing A 'Frozen' Connection To The 'Snow White And The Huntsman' Sequel

The cold never bothered her anyway.

There's no Kristen Stewart in the upcoming "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel, but there are several reasons to get excited all the same — specifically, some newly announced Blunt force trauma.

The Wrap reports that Emily Blunt is eyeing a role in "The Huntsman," the "Snow White" follow-up focusing exclusively on Chris Hemsworth's axe-wielding hero. If a deal goes through, she'll play the Snow Queen...

...NOT to be confused with Elsa, unfortunately.

Instead, this Snow Queen is the sister of the not-so-dearly departed Evil Queen Ravenna…

And she's seeking the Huntsman's head, in an effort to avenge her late sister. And given what we've seen Blunt do in the recent past…

…Mr. Huntsman should be very, very afraid.

"The Huntsman" is expected to move forward very soon, even though the film is currently without a director; Frank Darabont walked away last week, and Universal is expected to name a replacement in short order. The movie is aiming for a 2016 release.
