Lil Wayne Is So Apologetic That He's Releasing 'Sorry 4 The Wait 2' Next Week

Plus Tunechi drops bars over Makonnen's 'Maneuvering' instrumental in the project's teaser video.

We can finally breathe! Lil Wayne’s Sorry 4 The Wait 2 has a release date.

The project is now scheduled to be released Tuesday (January 20), news that was revealed in an apologetic short clip advertising the effort.

"Sorry for the wait, the confusion, the disturbance,” Wayne sing-raps on the track previewed in the clip, which repurposes Makonnen's "Maneuvering" instrumental.

The video also offers an apology that reads “I’m so so sorry for the wait.”

Tunechi’s upcoming effort was recently previewed on “Sh!t Remx,” where Weezy also addressed his Cash Money Records dispute and his hopes of becoming a free agent.

Sorry 4 The Wait 2 follows the original Sorry 4 The Wait, which was released in 2011 due to Tha Carter IV's various delays.

That makes us wonder when all of the label issues will get resolved and when Tha Carter V will also get an official release date. We can hope, right?

Look out for Sorry 4 The Wait 2 this Tuesday.
