Joey Bada$$ Wants A Ride-Or-Die Chick On 'Run Up On Ya': Listen Now

Action Bronson and Elle Varner lend a hand.

Joey Bada$$ gets an assist from Action Bronson and Elle Varner for his latest track, “Run Up On Ya,” which is slated to be a bonus track on his upcoming debut album, B4.DA.$$.

The Statik Selektah-produced banger has a smoothed-out beat with a crisp, heavy bass line and sitar suitable for the Pro Era rapper’s braggadocios street tales.

“First things first, I Joey, freaks all the honeys, mummies, to playboy bunnies/the hoes run me, get down before the money, just know shit could get ugly/but whether it rain or sunny, just never worry, chinchillas in February,” he raps.

Varner’s sultry falsetto is the glue that holds this ride-or-die anthem together, while Bronson finds a clever way to weave in lyrics that takes the listeners back to the days when Word Up and Tiger Beat magazines were staples in every teenagers library.

B4.DA.$$ is scheduled for release on January 20, but you can listen to the new song right now:
