Man, when we found out about Rihanna’s new creative director gig at Puma, we thought that was going to be her only foray into fashion design for 2015. Luckily, it isn't! According to WWD, RiRi (and four other ladies) created personalized Fendi bags to celebrate the brand's new flagship store opening on Madison Avenue. Rihanna, Jourdan Dunn, Leandra Medine (The Man Repeller), Sarah Jessica Parker, and Rachel Feinstein all got the chance to reimagine the 3Baguette handbag, and TBH, we couldn't be more stoked.
The best part? Proceeds from the bags will be donated to each woman's charity of choice. For Rihanna, it's the Clara Lionel Foundation, which "works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts, and culture."
The bags won't be unveiled until February 13 (at a cocktail party hosted by Karl Lagerfeld, nonetheless), but we did get a tiny scoop into their design process. "They had free rein, choosing their favorite colors, favoring their own personal tastes," chief executive officer Pietro Beccari told WWD. Well, we can't wait to see this RiRi creation!
