And The Oscar For Best Response To A Snub Goes To...

Some things are awesome. Not everything.

The 2015 Oscar nominations are finally here, and in the minds of some movie fans, everything is clearly not awesome.

Though "The LEGO Movie" was nominated for Best Original Song, it was left off the nominee list for the Best Animated Feature category, to the surprise of many. Despite fans' outrage, co-director Phil Lord tweeted that, hey, let's chill. He even has his own Oscar!

"This is not a tragedy," he tweeted. "Congrats to incredible crew and cast of The Lego Movie, who made a classic."

Similarly, "Selma" director Ava DuVernay, whose name many expected to see among the contenders for Best Director, took her snub -- as well as the omission of the film from all categories but Best Picture and Best Original Song -- with grace.

"Happy Birthday, Dr. King," DuVernay tweeted. "An Oscar gift for you. To SELMA cast + crew led by our miracle David Oyelowo! To Common + Legend! Kudos! March on!"
