Naya Rivera Was Joking When She Said White People Shower Too Much, C'mon

JK, y'all!

It was a joke, y'all! Two days after explaining to white people that they're totally overthinking this whole hygiene thing, Naya Rivera is walking back her shower comments.

The "Glee" star returned to "The View" on Wednesday to clarify her earlier claims that white people should rethink bathing every day.

"Showering. Biggest topic in pop culture today, in my opinion. Thanks to me, unfortunately," she said during the "Hot Topics" segment. "Yesterday, we were talking about a study that says you're supposed to shower once or twice every three days. I had an opinion on it that was supposed to be a joke. Apparently it didn't go over so well... I apologize if anyone was offended."

She also read some tweets she got about the incident, including one that read, "Now white people gonna think we don't shower cuz of Naya Rivera."

Show co-host Nicolle Wallace defended Rivera and said people should let it go. "Back off of Naya," Wallace said. "She's very clean."
