Matthew McConaughey Looks Like A Baby In His 'Dazed And Confused' Audition Tape: Watch

Long before the so-called McConaissance, and long before that bonkers beard, Matthew McConaughey was a fresh-faced baby boy who had to audition for movie roles just like anyone else.

Case in point: "Dazed and Confused," Richard Linklater's 1993 coming-of-age story about the final days of high school for a bunch of '70s kids. McConaughey stars as Wooderson, a man too old to still be hanging out with high schoolers but too young at heart for real world responsibility. He's a far cry from the existential detectives and AIDS-afflicted rodeo cowboys of today, but even back in the early '90s, McConaughey was spouting out wisdom while driving around in cars.
