None of the Avengers were suited up for the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Monday (January 12) night, but, with the second trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” premiering during the first half, Marvel still scored big time.
In the one-minute, 30-second clip, the James Spader-voiced Ultron causes more destruction and devastation for our heroes to contend with, all while playing them against each other in the process.
“Everyone creates the thing they dread,” says the metallic skull-faced villain. “I’m gonna tear you apart from the inside.”
Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye each battle with the heavy-metal maniac in the new teaser, but it’s the epic fight between Iron Man and the Hulk that steals the spotlight.
From Tony Stark’s wicked Hulkbuster suit to Mark Ruffalo’s expressive face on David Banner’s gamma-ray creation, the clash between these two superheroes is certain to be the most anticipated sequence in the movie.
“No matter who wins or loses, trouble always comes around,” says Nick Fury.
Couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Nick.
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
