BROOKLYN, New York -- From Lindy the leading lady, played by Victoria Justice, to her male costars, Casey Deidrick and John Garet Stoker, there's no disputing that MTV's newest series, "Eye Candy," is jam-packed with, well, exactly that.
In tonight's premiere episode, however, you'll learn that one of the sexiest parties involved isn't even a member of the cast, but the show's location instead.
"It's based in New York -- it's been great. We've been filming in Williamsburg, and we've been shooting on location and all over Brooklyn," Victoria told MTV News while shooting the cover of Seventeen's February issue. "It's really cool because I feel like New York is also, like, a character on the show."
New York City sets the scene for Lindy, who, after making an online dating profile, suspects one of her mysterious matches might be a deadly cyper stalker. When she discovers that one of her dates fits the description of a potential serial killer in Manhattan, she teams up with a clique of hackers to solve those murders, while unleashing her own style of justice on the streets of NYC in the process.
"We've been trying to utilize the scenery as much as we can," she said. "There's one scene we did on a rooftop where you have the Brooklyn Bridge in the background, and New York is so beautiful. It's amazing to be able to capture the essence of this city."
