Charlize Theron Reportedly Took A Stand For Equal Pay After Sony Hack Revealed Salary Gender Gaps

You get that paper, girl.

File this under one of the many, many reasons why we love Charlize Theron: after the Sony hack's icky revelations about unequal pay in Hollywood, the actress reportedly took a stand.

According to Page Six, Theron re-negotiated her salary for "The Huntsman" – a prequel to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman" – to be equal to that of co-star Chris Hemsworth.

And it worked! Though her salary is undisclosed, Hollywood insiders say it's worth more than $10 million. “Charlize insisted that she get paid the same money as Chris. She has a great track record, so she got the same deal," a source told Page Six.

We're hopeful Theron's move is just the first of many steps towards wage awareness and reform in Hollywood. Charlize, you're a goddess and an inspiration.
