Fans of the "X-Men" series still have over a year to go until "Apocalypse" hits theaters, but MTV News is here to provide a little bit of detail about Mr. End Of Days himself -- he's going to be scary. Very much so, in fact.
"I've seen a couple things," Apocalypse -- or Oscar Isaac, whatever -- told us at the National Board of Review Awards red carpet. "Scary s--t. Scary s--t... I'm going to bring [the X-Men] down to their knees. It's amazing, I'm so excited about everything that's going to happen."
Backing up a bit, Isaac's Apocalypse is being hyped as the most vicious villain in X-Men movie history -- which makes sense, given his title. Reportedly, the film will focus on the trio of mutants we first met in "First Class" (James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence) alongside Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and detail the origin of mutants.
But perhaps most importantly, much of the film's action will definitely take place in the '80s -- so is Isaac going to bring his camel coat from "A Most Violent Year" along for the ride?
"It's pretty strong, right?" Isaac said with a laugh. "Just add some blue and grey on there."
