Bruno Mars Funks Up Taylor Swift's Chart Reign

Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' nabs #1 from 'Blank Space.'

Apparently, that Taylor Swift reign will let up -- at least every now and then.

After holding strong at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks, Swift's "Blank Space" has been dethroned by Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk," featuring Bruno Mars.

As Billboard notes, this shift marks the end of a record-tying 19 consecutive weeks of women ruling the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Before "Blank Space," Meghan Trainor held #1 with "All About That Bass," and before her it was Taylor again with "Shake It Off."

Speaking of shaking it off, don't be too bummed, Swifties. The 1989 single is still up there on the chart, hanging in at #2. Who knows? It might even overtake "Uptown Funk" next week. Besides, all Taylor has to do is drop "Style," and -- BAM! -- there she'll be, casually stroking Olivia Benson at #1.

Look for Mark Ronson's Uptown Special next Tuesday, January 13. Until then, play nice, fandoms.
