Beanie Sigel Was Released From The Hospital: See The Pic

Beans appears to be going home a month after suffering gunshot wounds.

Exactly one month after being hospitalized following a shooting in New Jersey, Beanie Sigel is reportedly headed home.

Neef Buck took to Instagram Monday (Jan. 5) to break the good news about his friend’s improving health.

“Alhamdulillah !!!! Masha allah !!! MY BOY IS HOME !!!!! @beaniesigelsp,” Neef wrote. One half of the rap duo Young Gunz, Buck is also a solo artist and member of Sigel’s rap collective State Property.

In the photo, a nurse helps the 40-year-old rapper (born Dwight Grant) out of a wheelchair and into the back of a white SUV. Beans’ face is covered, however, by a white hospital blanket.

While the former Roc-A-Fella MC’s discharge from the hospital is a positive sign for his recovery from gunshot wounds, the official status of his health remains unknown.

Beans was shot last month in Pleasanton, New Jersey, one day before his felony probation was scheduled to end. During his hospital stay, he was rumored to be in stable but critical condition after undergoing surgery to repair injuries to his back and torso.

MTV News will continue to update this still-developing story.
