John Rambo is coming back for more blood.
According to Screen Rant, Sylvester Stallone has an official title for the fifth installment of his "Rambo" film series: “Last Blood.”
The name brings the movie franchise full circle because the first film about the troubled Vietnam veteran, which came out in 1982, was called “First Blood.”
The plot of the motion picture is expected to center around Rambo’s dust-up with drug cartels in Arizona near the Mexican border.
Not surprisingly, anyone that comes in contact with Rambo will end up on the business end of his signature knife, gun and bow and arrow.
The "Expendables 3" star took to Twitter this past weekend to confirm that he’ll begin filming the project after he wraps the Rocky spinoff, “Creed,” which begins production in Philadelphia in January.
Stallone wrote the script for the action thriller and is expected to direct as well.
No release date has been set yet.
