Taylor Swift Is Just As Obsessed With These 1989 Mashups As You Are

Taylor's new album has inspired fans to create their own renditions of her songs.

The results (aka record-breaking sales numbers) are in and Taylor Swift's 1989 was one of the most dearly beloved albums of 2014. But now that I've all listened to it on repeat about ten thousand times, I feel like I need something new... a new take on all my favorite tracks. Luckily, I don't have to look any further than the fans of our beloved Tay Tay, who happen to be immensely talented themselves!

Nashville singer-songwriter Louisa Wendorff and Devin Dawson put together this incredibly intricate, Civil Wars-esque mash up of "Blank Space" and "Style" that somehow brings out a deeper, haunting edge than already existed in the songs. So what does Taylor think? One word:

Take a moment and give this song a full listen:

I can't be the only one who is reminded of the Civil Wars listening to this, can I?

After the surge of support from Taylor, Louisa and Devin were both obviously thrilled.

And if Louisa and Devin's hybrid isn't enough to tide you over with your 1989 fever, Youtube mash up experts Kurt Hugo Schneider and Sam Tsui undertook their own task for the album: meld every single song from the record into a three minute take! While their endeavor is a more fast-paced, tongue-in-cheek take, it's also an incredible accomplishment. Listen below:

This is almost as good as new music from Taylor herself.
