While you're wrapping up the last of your gifts and perfecting your egg nog recipe, Sam Smith is celebrating Christmas Eve the hArDcOrE way: getting tatted up with his family.

"HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE. Me and my sisters are getting a tattoos today together. So excited x," Sam wrote on Instagram, posting a photo with his two younger siblings.

He also shared a photo of him with taped fingers (and I think I'm also attracted to him in this pic, but that's besides the point).

Turns out, he and his sisters got the Roman numeral "III" tattooed on their wrists.

And, he got his finger tattoos touched up -- hence the tape. Nice!
