50 Cent Urges 'Shooting Police Officers Is Not The Answer'

Fif quotes Ghandi.

If you ask 50 Cent about the content of his rap lyrics, he'll most likely tell you that his rhymes are a reflection of the harsh realities that he's had to face. As harsh as those realities may have been, 50 Cent does not condone the murder of police officers.

Before Ismaaiyl Brinsley ambushed and fatally shot officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, then took his own life, he posted a series of pics on Instagram with dark and violent captions.

In one post, he pictured a gun, hashtagged Eric Garner and Michael Brown's names and threatened to murder two police officers in a very twisted and unrelated revenge plot against police who had nothing to do with Garner or Brown's deaths.

In a second post, Brinsely quoted lyrics from 50's 2002 No Mercy, No Fear mixtape.

"Never had a hot gun on your waist and blood on your shoe... N---a you ain't been through what I been through you not like me and I'm not like you," Brinsely wrote to caption a pic of his blood stained pants and shoes.

In reaction, 50 posted a meme of Mahatma Gandhi on Saturday which included his famous quote, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

Fif's caption read: "Condolences to the family of the 2 officers.RIP Mike Brown, RIP Eric Garner randomly shooting police officers is not the answer. Mayor De Blasio get your ass to work!!!! #SMSAUDIO #POWERTV #FRIGO #EFFENvodka"
