Flawless photo-taker Solange Knowles has a very particular aesthetic, which is why she's so choosy when it comes to her partnerships. Earlier this season, she teamed up with Puma for her second art-directing campaign and capsule collaboration, and now she's found a style mate in Elevenparis. As you can imagine, her latest campaign is a stunner.
It's so good, you could even say it's hair-raising (heh). In the ads, shot by Kim Jakobsen To in New York, Solange's Diana Ross tribute of a hairstyle is front and center—and flipped upside down. Maybe she borrowed some wind machines from big sis Beyonce for the occasion??
Style-wise, Solange keeps it casual with a couple of oversized tees.
She wears one with Céline-like brushstrokes and the other a geometric jersey stating "Black 90." The main attraction though is her faux destroyed sweater with sheer panels and blue pair of shorts.
Solange is joined in the campaign by fellow pro indie model Christopher Owens, a solo artist that used to front the band girls, who you might recognize from Saint Laurent's inaugural campaign as a rebranded entity by Hedi Slimane.
Christopher also proves that this campaign is just as much about the hair as it is the clothes.
