"Even when I try to protect people, they still try to take advantage of me," Nicki said in a series of since-deleted tweets that were published via Vibe.
"Haven't you learned that God is in control? Stop while you're ahead," she continued. "Anything you don't appreciate will be taken. God sees your ungrateful evil soul. I gave and gave and gave. Threatening me? Blackmail? Jump."
But that wasn't all, as you can see from her many tweets below.
Safaree replied with his own tweets, saying he doesn't know what Nicki's talking about. In his posts, the rapper's ex also says that "it's not about fame." Instead, he adds, "it's about respect."
We can't confirm that Nicki and Safaree were tweeting about one another, of course, since neither one added their ex's names. But from the context clues, it looks pretty obvious that they're talking to each other.
This isn't the first time their break-up has gone public. Much of Nicki's latest album, The Pinkprint deals with the heartbreak of their long rumored relationship.
Here's to hoping they can find an amicable resolution.
