The People have spoken.
Kevin Hart (Comedy Star of the Year), Lisa Kudrow (Television Performance of the Year-Actress) and Kate Upton (People’s Sexiest Woman) were among the big winners of the night at the first annual People Magazine Awards tonight.
The lovely Chloe Grace Moretz took home the Next Generation Star honors, while 5 Seconds of Summer and Gwen Stefani (backed by Pharrell Williams) brought down the house with their live performances of “What I Like About You" and “Spark The Fire,” respectively.
The laugh out loud moment of the night went to "Mad Men" actor Jon Hamm, who nabbed the coveted hardware for Television Performance of the Year.
"Mostly I want to thank you all for welcoming me and all of us here at the first-class lounge at LAX,” Hamm told the capacity crowd at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “It’s really nice. I have some flight updates. The 7:30 to SFO is on time, FYI, and the two red-eyes to JFK have been delayed. Also, the Wi-Fi password is pomegranate."
