Is Lil Wayne Working On 'Sorry 4 The Wait 2'? Check Out A Few Clues

The sequel?

Lil Wayne might just be gearing up to release Sorry 4 The Wait 2, a sequel to the rapper’s 2011 project, which the Young Money boss dropped in the lead-up to Tha Carter IV.

If so, the effort comes just as news is starting to boil around Tha Carter V delays and a Cash Money quarrel that’s spilled over from Twitter to the stage.

Reports about Sorry 4 The Wait 2 come thanks to Instagram posts by Young Money's president, Mack Maine and YM affiliate Fee Banks. Both men referenced Sorry 4 The Wait 2 in captions on the photo-sharing site.

You have to wonder if Sorry 4 The Wait 2's rumored release will help settle the reported tension between Lil Wayne and Cash Money. Although Wayne has said he wants nothing to do with CM, Weezy's manager Cortez Bryant laughed off questions about a dispute. Meanwhile, Maine has spoken optimistically about a resolution.

In fact, Mack may have even given us a hint about the rumored Sorry 4 The Wait 2 release recently when he said that Wayne was “touching up the [Carter V] album and about to start another special project for the people.” Could Sorry be that special project?

For now, it looks like we still have to wait for a confirmation about Sorry 4 The Wait 2 from Weezy. But things sure looks promising.
