'True Life' Update: Are Paige And Ally Still Hooked On Molly?

That's not all: See how the athletes of 'I'm Being Recruited' handled their first year at college.

MTV’s "True Life" followed two people who were hooked on the party drug Molly, and later, high school athletes who were inches away from committing to top-tier colleges. We had an opportunity to check in with Paige and Taylor of "True Life: I'm Hooked on Molly" and Jalen and DaeJuan of "True Life: I'm Being Recruited" to see how their lives have changed since filming wrapped. Take a look at our follow-up Q&As below:

Paige of "I'm Hooked on Molly":

Are you still using Molly?

I only use Molly maybe once a week now. I was in the hospital with chickenpox recently -- after being so sick, I kinda had to get my head screwed back on. I haven’t been partying much because I had sort of a slap in the face when I was in the hospital. A lot of things happened that made me slow down and rethink things. The emergency room wasn’t fun, and I had a good five days to clean up and think.

How are things going with your dance company?

There are good events coming -- huge ones -- so I’m focused on nursing myself back to full health and making everything look perfect.

How is your relationship with Will? Have you moved in together?

Will and I are off and on. I still live in the same apartment.

Why did you decide to share your story with us, and what was it like being filmed during such raw moments?

I decided to share my story because when I was younger, I remember watching "True Life" episodes that I related to and thinking it felt nice to know I’m not the only one -- and that there are others out there who are struggling with what I struggle with too. A lot of episodes helped me dramatically like the "Drunkorexia" one, "I Have OCD" and those that focused on eating disorders. So I hope someone out there does have that "I’m not alone moment" like I did.

Ally of "I'm Hooked on Molly":

Why do you think you've been so successful at staying sober?

I finally have my life together, and I know I never want to go back to that lifestyle ever again.

What have you been up to since we stopped filming?

I'm working as a host at a local restaurant. And I am working on my music career.

How is your relationship?

We’re good -- almost three months, still going strong.

Why did you decide to share your story with us, and what was it like being filmed during such raw moments?

I felt like the life I was living was horrible, and I needed to get my story out there so that my life could change. And it did -- for the better. When filmed, I didn't even notice the camera was there.

DaeJuan of "I'm Being Recruited"

Tell us about life at the University of West Virginia. How is your first season as a WV Mountaineer?

Practice is somewhat similar to Friendship's practices, but it's a little longer. We have about 30 periods a practice and go through everything from techniques in individual drills to playing in real-game situations. I'm expecting a lot of play time next season.

How are you doing with your classes?

I'm working hard on and off the field to prove to the coaches that I want to be here!

What was it like sharing your story with us?

It was an amazing experience -- just getting in front of the camera was cool! And it was great practice for long-term purposes.

Jalen of "I'm Being Recruited"

Tell us about your first season as a University of Florida Gator.

First season at UF was great. I couldn't have asked for a better freshman year. I had a lot of fun and got to meet people from all over the country. I played with the best talent.

Do you feel like Florida was the right choice for you? Any regrets in not going to Arizona?

I feel like Florida was the best choice for me. I have no regrets with my decision. This was the best year of my life.

What was it like sharing your story with us?

It was great -- I'm glad I got somebody to listen. I'm just blessed to have told my story to you guys.
