In about nine months, we'll see Marvel's First Family up on the big-screen for the first time since 2007. But as of right now, there's very little we've seen — and indeed, very little we know — about the new "Fantastic Four."
We know it's directed by Josh Trank. We know it stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards, Kate Mara as Susan Storm, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm. We also know that Toby Kebbell is playing a new take on Doctor Doom: Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom, a hacker and blogger, not a Latverian dictator.
We have not seen the "Fantastic Four" trailer yet, nor have we seen any photos or teaser images from the film. The secrecy surrounding Fox's upcoming reboot, and the few details we know that seem to veer far away from comic book canon, have left some fans feeling concerned, to put it lightly. But what do the stars involved with the project have to say about online reactions to "Fantastic Four"?
MTV News posed that very question to Teller when they met up on the red carpet at the Gotham Awards, where he was nominated for a Best Actor award for his turn in "Whiplash." Here's what Teller said about some of the skeptical "Fantastic Four" reactions:
