Sam Smith, Ansel Elgort And Betty Who Ruled The 2014 New Now Next Awards

Jessie J also burned up the stage at the show, which airs Sunday, Dec. 7 on Logo TV.

It was a Sam Smith kind of night on Tuesday at LOGO TV's 2014 New Now Next Awards. At the celebration of all things major in music, movies and TV, held at the Kimpton’s Surfcomber Miami, South Beach, Smith was honored along with the stars of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" and "The Fault In Our Stars" during the glittering awards show, which will air on Logo TV on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 8pm ET/PT and MTV on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

The show, hosted by "Glee" star Darren Criss, bestowed the Best New Musician-Male award on "Stay With Me" singer Smith, while "Somebody Loves You" star Betty Who took the top prize for female artists. Natalie Dormer was dubbed Best New Lead Film Actress for her rebel role as Cressida in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" and Ansel Elgort took Best New Lead Film Actor for playing Gus in "The Fault in Our Stars" in the audience-voted category.

This year's New Now Next Awards were also an unmissable night in music, as well, including Jessie J's ultra-hot performance of "Burnin’ Up" and Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth's stunning rendition of "Maybe This Time" from "Cabaret."

Betty Who made her awards show debut with a medley of "Somebody Loves You" and "All of You" accompanied by the synchronized swimmers from the Aqualillies, while celebrity house DJ Joe Jonas kept the party moving all night.

The event featured special appearances by “Orange Is The New Black” stars Danielle Brooks, Lorraine Touissant, Laverne Cox and Lea DeLaria, Nick Jonas, Charli XCX, Mary Lambert, “Looking” stars Raúl Castillo and Frankie Alvarez, Nick Cannon, Tyler Glenn, A Great Big World, Fifth Harmony, Lance Bass, Perez Hilton, Tyler Oakley, Hannah Hart, “Awkward’s” Molly Tarlov, as well as “Faking It’s” Katie Stevens and Michael J. Willett.
