"Don't ditch your girlfriends for this guy" and "hold out till sex is your idea" are just some of the many tips Shalyah Evans from "Girl Code" has for Scottish singer Susan Boyle, 53, who recently got her first boyfriend ever.
The lucky fella is a doctor from Connecticut, the AP reported Monday. They met while Boyle was touring in the U.S.
"I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him," Boyle told The Sun in an interview reported by the Daily Mail. "All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy."
Boyle -- who revealed last year that was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome -- first rose to fame back in April 2009, when she belted out Les Misérables' "I Dreamed A Dream" on "Britain's Got Talent." At the time of her performance, she claimed that she had never been kissed before. Since then she has released numerous albums, acted in a movie and been nominated for two Grammys. Her talent and drive make her a much-adored international success.
Since Boyle is new to the wonderful -- horrible? -- world of dating, Shalyah decided to give her some sage relationship advice in the video below. For some added jazz, the "Girl Code" star replaced the lyrics to "I Dreamed A Dream" with her own words of wisdom.
I think "Play it cool, this thing is new / Dudes get weird about commitment / Just be chill and make him work / Trust me, I want to get you laid" really drives the message home, don't ya think?
