The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer Is Breaking Major Records

You like it! You really like it!

Have you watched the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer yet? Of course you have. How do I know? Because everyone in the universe has watched the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer.

(But go ahead, watch it again.)

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new "Star Wars" trailer "had the best first week of any trailer on YouTube in 2014," with almost 60 million YouTube views since its release on November 28. It's on track to become the most viewed trailer of all time.

That number puts "Star Wars" ahead of the 50.6 million views of the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer, the previous record-holder, which was already lapped by the "Jurassic World" trailer's 53.9 million YouTube views.

So, it seems like some of you guys liked that "Force Awakens" trailer. I wonder why? Could it be the soccer ball droid?

The redesigned Stormtroopers?

That ridiculous new lightsaber?

It's the Falcon, isn't it?

So many different reasons to love that trailer, and so many different reasons to be pumped up for the new movie. We have a long, long wait ahead of us between now and the film's release on December 18, 2015.
