Gwen Stefani And Pharrell Light Up The Stage With 'Spark The Fire' Performance

Who got the lighter?

Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams set “The Voice” stage ablaze Monday night (December 1) with the debut live performance of their new single, “Spark the Fire.”

Fittingly, the two coaches served up the feminist anthem in the closing minutes of the two-hour live broadcast featuring the remaining top 8 contestants on NBC’s hit singing competition.

Dressed in a powder-blue, cloud-decorated jumpsuit, the No Doubt lead vocalist floated down to the stage on a huge, animated cloud head. Flanked by pirouetting dancers, the pop chanteuse jumped right into the song’s refrain.

Skateboard P, clad in a dark blue leather tracksuit, took the stage to play hype man to his collaborator, punctuating the song’s crescendos while waving a lit sparkler.

The whimsical set featured colorful pictures of red lips, strawberries, cherries, panda bears and a lyric video playing in the background for the audience to follow along in a call and response.

Before ending their performance, the duo hit the catwalk to engage the audience, prompting their fellow judges to stand up and join in on the rousing standing ovation.

“Spark The Fire” is slated for the singer’s third solo album, which drops in December. Watch the full music video for the song here:
