Kylie Jenner Thanks Kim Kardashian For Helping Her Go From 'Good Girl To Ghetto'

Good girl gone ... ghetto?

Kylie Jenner has a lot to be thankful for, I think we can agree. She and sister Kendall have a witchy new holiday collection for Pac Sun, a mad genius brother-in-law in Kanye West and her lip liner game would put your M.A.C. pro to shame. But the 17-year-old had the Internet doing its best Kylie pout when it came to light that she was also grateful to be, well, "ghetto."

In a text message, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" regular thanked big sister Kim for "always having my back." Kylie went on to confess that she had learned a lot from her world-famous sibling, from style tips to "how to turn from good girl to ghetto." The thank-you was apparently an October birthday message sent to Mrs. West, who told her IG followers she was glad she had taken a screen shot of the candid iMessage. (But why, Kim? As blackmail?)

So glad I screen grabbed this Bday message in Oct from Kylie. This means so much to me ❤️#GoodGirltoGhetto

Kim's followers were left scratching their heads over the grill-loving Jenner's light-switch-style use of the word "ghetto" -- like it's something you can turn off and on -- or would even want to, depending on how you feel about the controversial word. Tapping out the eye-roll emoji, some fans couldn't decide if it was "strange," "racist" or the "worst message ever."

But others leapt to Kylie's defense, calling the #goodgirltoghetto hashtag a harmless fav, and simply another way to rep for bad-ass fashion and selfies. Maybe KJ's just an August Alsina fan.

What do you think of Kylie's "good girl to ghetto" catchphrase? Harmless or nah? Share your thoughts in the comments.
