Though "Frozen" came out a year ago this weekend, the furor has nary a sign of stopping. It would seem that just like we're not quite ready to "Let It Go," neither is Idina Menzel, who sand that famous song and voiced Elsa in the hit flick.
So it's only natural, given the film's popularity, that there's a sequel in the works.
We'll just give you a moment to process that. If you're anything like us, you're all like...
Done squeeing? No? That's cool, that's fine. Us too.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Menzel responded to a question about a stage musical and a film sequel (in addition to the six-minute "Frozen Fever" short coming in 2015), by saying she knew "that they’re all in the works."
Um, Elsa, could you be a little more specific? The actress, who called singing "Let It Go" "really hard" and recommended that amateurs "don't worry about hitting the high notes," had very little more to share about this sequel business, only that she hoped she'd be involved.
"Not the stage show – I don’t know what will happen with that – but the movie hopefully," she said. "We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride."
We'll be waiting on the edge of our
thrones seats for more details, but it goes without saying that we can't wait to see Idina's animated self pull this move again, sans self-inflicted ice queen drama:
