B.o.B. Quotes Katniss Everdeen As He Drops Politically-Charged New Black Mixtape

Bobby Ray has a lot on his mind.

Just like the rest of us, artists were rattled by a Ferguson grand jury's decision not to indict Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown this week, and B.o.B. poured a lot of those emotions -- and more -- into his New Black mixtape.

The project was released late on Thanksgiving day, and just from the first few lyrics on the opening song "Missing," it's clear that he has a lot on his mind.

"Seems like since we got a black president, black people stopped questioning the government," the Atlanta rapper declares immediately. On songs like "Dr. Arden," he even includes extended news bytes addressing biological warfare.

Shortly after releasing the mixtape, he shared the above tweet. Obviously, "The Hunger Games" is fictional, but you can probably catch his drift here. Stream the project below.
