This is a serious question: What can't Cara Delevingne do? We're well aware our girl knows how to work a runway, take over magazine covers, and star in some of the biggest fashion campaigns of all time, but, dudes, she also acts, plays the drums, and sings.
For her latest endeavor, she teamed up with Karl Lagerfeld and Pharrell Williams on a film that features Chanel’s Métiers d’art collection, which will be shown in Austria on December 2. The Karl-directed piece, called "Reincarnation," tells the story of Gabrielle Chanel (more widely known as Coco Chanel) when she met a "lift boy" while visiting Salzburg in 1954 who inspired the now-iconic Chanel jacket. The best part? Pharrell composed and wrote the lyrics to soundtrack, "CC The World," and Cara's soulful voice makes an appearance.
In the video, Cara and Pharrell slow dance to the impossible-to-forget song (seriously, that "CC" chant may never leave our brain) decked out in super fancy ballgown garb. "It was time to show the origins of the Chanel jacket," said Karl. "'Reincarnation' is the story of a lift attendant’s jacket being reincarnated as a timeless piece of women’s wear."
Check out the teaser above, and keep your eyes peeled for the full campaign (and video!) featuring our two multi-talented faves soon.
