Lil Wayne And Christina Milian Fan The Flames On Relationship Rumors On New Single 'Start A Fire'

The track is off the upcoming Tha Carter V.

If Lil Wayne and Christina Milian aren't confirming their rumored relationship with their new song, they're certainly playing along with the chatter.

Early Monday morning (November 24), Tunechi released his latest single from Tha Carter V, "Start a Fire," featuring Milian, which the two debuted hours earlier at the AMAs. Though they don't directly address the rumors about their relationship, the tone of the song suggests some serious sparks -- the only question is if it reflects their reality, or is just music.

"Mama, I'm in love with a hot girl, and they just don't get it/ They just don't get it," Weezy repeats a few times throughout the smooth, percussive track. "Let's start a fire, you'll be my lighter/ Baby, I'll be your gasoline," the R&B singer croons.

Over the summer, Wayne and Christina were seen holding hands at the ESPY Awards. When asked about her relationship with him soon after, she said, simply, "We make music together."

This is the latest in a string of releases leading up to Tha Carter V, including "Believe Me" and "Krazy," and sounds poised to rival the former as the biggest single thus far. After some initial delays, the album will be available December 9.
