Is Angelina Jolie Quitting Acting To Become A Full-Time Director?

In a new interview, the actress said she'd rather be behind the camera.

Could Angelina Jolie be working on her very last onscreen roles? In an interview with Dujour, the 39-year-old actress and filmmaker admitted that she loves directing so much she just might quit acting altogether.

“I’ve never been comfortable as an actor; I’ve never loved being in front of the camera,” Jolie told her interviewer. “I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier.”

When asked if she would ever quit acting, she grinned and said, "Absolutely."

Jolie's second film "Unbroken," which is about the life of the Olympic runner Louis Zamperini who served in World War II, is set to hit theaters this Christmas (December 25).

Her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey" came out in 2011. She's currently working on her third film, "By the Sea," with fellow actor and husband Brad Pitt and their 13-year-old son Maddox. She wrote the screenplay and will also star in the movie, though it sounds like the role could be one of her last.
