'Holy Crap' -- Lorde Just Won Another Slew Of Awards

When you go home for the holidays, you get turkey and guilt. Lorde gets 6 awards.

Lorde has proven that you can, indeed, go home again -- and get a hero's welcome when doing so. After heading back to New Zealand in the wake of tour and the bustle around curating the soundtrack for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1," Ella scooped up six New Zealand Music Awards Thursday night.

"I feel like I'm going to cry ... Holy crap, thank you," Lorde said while accepting the International Achievement Award for the second year in a row, according to The New Zealand Herald. "It seems crazy to think it's been only a year since I was sat right there, opening the music awards."

The "Royals" singer scooped up six Tuis (that's what the award is called) for Album of the Year, Single of the Year ("Team"), Best Female Solo Artist, Best Pop Album, Highest Selling Single ("Royals") and the aforementioned International Achievement Award. She won four awards last year as well -- before Pure Heroine could be officially nominated.

Lorde took to social media last night to celebrate her wins, sharing a snap of her and siblings Angelo and India on stage to accept her Single Of The Year Award, plus a photo with boyfriend James Lowe.

She also hit up Twitter, where she thanked her home country for the awards, and also congratulated fellow Kiwis and friends BROODS and Tiny Ruins for their wins. BROODS took home Breakthrough Artist of the Year, while Tiny Ruins -- who wrote a song with David Lynch that was scraped from "The Hunger Games" soundtrack -- snagged Best Alternative Album.
