Timbaland had plenty to talk about Wednesday morning (November 19) during his sit-down with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.
Sure, there were more jokes and jabs at Lifetime's "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B" biopic, but the super producer also spent some time praising his new artist Tink.
The second track he premiered on the show, featuring guest vocals from the morning crew's own, Charlamagne Tha God, surfaced on the internet today.
While Tink raps over the hard-hitting Timbaland-laced beat, Charlamagne offers some interesting ad-libs:
"A wise man told me the first step towards change is awareness. The second step is acceptance. Are you aware of the changes that are happening around you? Are you willing to accept the change that is upon us?" he preaches, throughout the tune.
Tink's stock has been rising for some time now. But she received an extra boost once the original version of Rick Ross and Jay Z's "Moving Bass," featuring the rapper/singer, hit the airwaves.
"Her album is probably one of the best albums I did since [Aaliyah's] One in a Million,” he said on-air. "It's so big that I will play you something, you've gotta shut your cameras off for."
