Guess Who Almost Played Star-Lord In 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Instead Of Chris Pratt?

A man with a 'Sunny' disposition.

Here's Star-Lord.

He's the hero of "Guardians of the Galaxy," played to dancing perfection by Chris Pratt.

But did you know another actor with smooth moves almost played the hard-dancing bounty hunter?

No, not Danny DeVito. He was almost Howard the Duck.

(Kidding.)

No, it's the guy in the middle: Glenn Howerton, the brilliant mind behind Dennis Reynolds on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

In a new interview about Pratt, "Guardians" director James Gunn confirms that "there was a good chance that, if I didn't cast Chris, that I would've cast Glenn Howerton in the role."

In other words, we almost lived in a world where the Day Man became the Night Man Star-Lord.

Weird to think about. All due respect to the inventor of Chardee MacDennis, the Game of Games…

…but we'll take the current timeline where Chris Pratt is the world's greatest superstar.
