Steve Rogers versus Tony Stark might be the main event for the upcoming Marvel movie "Captain America: Civil War," but it appears that there will be evil forces at play outside of the friendly fire.
Marvel has announced that "Inglorious Basterds" and "Rush" star Daniel Bruhl will join Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Chadwick Boseman in "Captain America: Civil War."
"With Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes," Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said in a statement.
While the Marvel release doesn't comment on the nature of Bruhl's character, most outlets are reporting that he will play the villain.
The third movie in the "Captain America" series will be helmed by returning directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who did a bang-up job on "The Winter Soldier."
Speaking of Bucky Barnes, Sebastian Stan is also returning for "Civil War," while both Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson are expected to be back, according to Deadline.
"Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
