Eminem's “Shady CXVpher” verse was filled with unflattering rhymes about many celebrities, including Britney Spears and Anderson Cooper. But, one in particular appears to have stood out to Azealia Banks.

"I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice like Ray Rice," Em raps in the cypher video, referencing the domestic violences charges that eventually led to Rice's indefinite suspension from the NFL.

Presumably after hearing the verse, the Broke With Expensive Taste rapper delivered her own message of support to the "Shades Of Cool" singer.

In another since-deleted tweet, Banks also said that she would punch Eminem right back.

We already knew that Azealia loved Lana. And on Friday (November 7), Del Rey tweeted Banks' music video to her Twitter followers.

But, what may surprise some people is that Lana has expressed her love of Eminem in the past. "When I found Eminem for the first time, he really changed my life because I didn't know that music could be intelligent," she said in a 2012 interview for RNBJunk.

"He was talking about his own life and he wasn't just rhyming over music just for rhyme's sake," she added. "He was really talking about the way that things were... Also, he's a genius... I love him."

Lana Del Rey has not publicly responded to the Eminem verse at press time.
