Harry Styles' man bun, look out. There's a new man bun in town.

One Direction mate Zayn Malik is now rocking the 'do, while Harry is letting his hair flow free. The boys returned to the "X Factor U.K." (where their group was formed) on Saturday to perform "Steal My Girl," the first single off their upcoming FOUR. And while the boys sounded great and all, I couldn't stop looking at this:

Not only is there a hair tie involved, but Zayn uses a headband to pull away the extra strands that might get in his face. So studious!

Malik previously debuted his lil' ponytail at a "Who We Are" book signing in London in October:

But during the "X Factor," it was on full display, and fans seem to like it.

Others, however, thought differently.
