When you're accepting the an award called "Best Look," you're sort of obligated to bring it in the style department, right? The good news is: If you're accepting a "Best Look" award, style probably comes pretty naturally to you. Such is the story of Katy Perry and her 2014 EMA experience.
Though she wasn't physically in attendance at the awards show—she's a little busy on the Australian leg of her Prismatic World Tour—she did pop in via video to accept her award. What did KP wear? A pink rhinestone-encrusted crop top with a giant cat face across the front, natch.
The top (and its matching skirt which is just out of frame but really does exist) is the handiwork of Aussie label Di$count Univer$e—all your faves' new fave from Katy and Miley, to Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora. It's the perfect ensemble for Perry to address and thank her Katy Cats, but more generally, it's also just a perfect ensemble.
Lucky for all of us, there are still a few of these pieces available on Di$count Univer$e's online shop. If you've got a few hundred bones to spend in the name of sparkly cat'fits and paying homage to Katy Perry, the crop top can be yours for $149 and the skirt will run you back $189. Happy shopping!
