You Probably Missed The First Look At The Vision In 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron'

We almost did.

For as thrilling as the first "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer was, it kept at least one major element of the movie entirely hidden: The Vision.

The villain-turned-hero, played in the movie by Paul Bettany, is nowhere to be seen in the preview, despite showing up — albeit in a tiny, backwards-facing way — in the massive poster. But some eagle-eyed Marvel fans spotted him in the ABC special, "Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!"

The forward-looking portion of the special, which highlighted "Ant-Man" and "Age of Ultron," got some attention yesterday because of the new footage of Paul Rudd, but many people missed the partially obscured Vision in this shot from the "Avengers" set.

That gray and red dude behind the camera is The Vision!

So while the classic Avenger has yet to make his formal debut, this small sneak peek is definitely promising.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens in theaters on May 1.
