Kendrick Lamar Tries To 'Shake It Off' With New Freestyle Over Taylor Swift's Hit

Haters gonna hate.

Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift have a nice little thing going on here.

On Wednesday morning (November 5), K. Dot kicked a freestyle over Taylor's hit "Shake It Off" during a visit to K104 in Dallas.

If you're thinking, "What's Kendrick Lamar doing rapping on a Taylor Swift song?," well, it's actually not out of nowhere. Yesterday, a quick audio clip hit the 'net that brought us the TDE rapper saying, "I love that song," about "Shake It Off," and then singing the pop smash.

Taylor returned the favor. "Industry experts predicted 1989 would sell 650k first week," she wrote on Instagram Tuesday night. "You went and bought 1.287 million albums. AND IT'S GOT ME LIKE:"

Back in September, the 1989 singer told Rolling Stone that the Compton native's "Backseat Freestyle" was her "go-to." "I know every word,” she said -- and, finally, she proved it.

Maybe we'll hear Taylor on Kendrick's upcoming sophomore album?

(Yeah, probably not...)
