Selenators, good news! It appears as though we're going to get some new music from Selena Gomez sooner than we expected. According to Selena herself, she's ready to "start sharing."
While Selena hasn't officially confirmed a new release, she does seem to be teasing us; on Monday, Nov. 3, she posted a pretty telling picture on her Instagram, which revealed that she was having a "last listen" in the studio.
Selena captioned the pic, "As I have a last listen, I thought a lot about my year. I thought a lot about my voice. And after a year of holding on. I think it's time to start sharing. #November"
So does that mean new music this month? We certainly hope so. There have been rumors flying around that Selena will be releasing a greatest hits album in November which will feature two or three new songs.
In October 2014, Selena told us that new music would be coming "soon" and shared that "there's a whole new chapter coming that I can't wait to share with people."
Over this past year, Selena's been giving us subtle hints that she's been working on something big. In March, she posted a photo with the caption, "secret project," and throughout the past few months she's been posting videos of her singing cover songs, playing the piano and singing a stripped-down version of her hit "Who Says."
This will be the first new music from the pop star since the release of her album Stars Dance in July of 2013, which gave us the hit song "Come & Get It."
Enough already, Selena! Finish up your last listen and give us our first listen already!
