Anne Hathaway Explains Her Personal Spectrum Of Public Humiliation

On a scale of one to Franco...

Anne Hathaway is making the rounds right now to promote "Interstellar," and during her appearance Monday on "The Tonight Show," she was just as poised and charming as ever.

But lest we go hating on Anne for being perfect and unflappable all the time, she also told a fun story about giving a speech to honor co-star Matthew McConaughey last month -- which was basically an unmitigated disaster from start to finish -- and concluded by noting that her bar for total humiliation is set a little higher than most people's. Like, on a one-to-ten scale:

"One is just being a person walking down the street, and ten is, for me, co-hosting the Oscars with James Franco," she said. "Which is only tied with being honored to accept an Oscar whilst wearing a dress that I knew made it look like my nipples were erect."
